As mentioned in my previous article, nature communicates with us through our abilities of clairvoyance and clairaudience. Today we will discuss how nature communicates with us through our abilities of clairsentience and claircognizance.

Clairsentience

Clairsentience, or clear feeling, allows us to receive messages in the form of feelings, emotions, or other physical sensations. The focus with this sense is on the physical and emotional body. Many of us are clairsentient without consciously being aware of it. When we get a strong gut feeling about someone we’ve just met or when we get the chills for no apparent reason, we may be tuning into the emotional energy of a person or a spirit around us.

Some of us are empaths. We are highly sensitive and in tune with not only our own feelings, but those of others, including the beings in the natural world. Empaths are natural healers and can be found carrying out their soul missions as doctors, therapists, educators, and caregivers of all kinds.

When you receive a message through your clairsentience, you might feel uncertain about where the emotion is coming from and what it means. You might get stuck in your head instead of being in your heart. The element of water is a great sourcing ally in these cases. Call on it to help you stay in the flow and allow more fluid insights to come through. You may even want to drink a big glass of water to help the information come through with greater ease.

Plants are genius at sending signals through clairsentience. You might get tingling sensations, phantom sensations in your body, or feel overwhelmed in a good way when near a particular plant. Let’s say you’re walking in nature with the intention of being open to its wisdom when you come across a mulberry bush. Stopping to observe this fruity shrub, you notice feelings of sweetness arising from within your heart center. As you connect in with this sensation, a profound sense of deep acceptance about who you are is directed at you from the bush. In your gut, you know that this plant is prompting you to be aware of your interconnection to the whole, and how much you are loved and supported. For the rest of the weekend, you carry that feeling with you, allowing it to support you.

Claircognizance

We experience claircognizance, or clear knowing, when we become aware of insights, wisdom, inspired ideas, and even solutions. This is when we have knowledge of people or events that we would not normally have knowledge about. Many philosophers, professors, doctors, scientists, religious leaders, and business innovators have strong claircognizance. This potent way of receiving intuitive information is the least likely of the clairsenses to be misinterpreted but most likely to be dismissed because the information simply drops in.

Spirit impresses us with truths that pop into our minds from out of nowhere, like a premonition about something that will happen in the future. With this extra sense, seeing is not believing—believing is seeing!

The knowingness shows up first, followed by confirmation from the physical world. While eating your breakfast, you suddenly have a knowingness that abundance is about to come into your life. The next day while on a road trip, you get visual confirmation as you drive by farmers on their combines reaping their copious harvests and you experience the same knowingness of abundance like you did the morning before. You feel in your solar plexus that good things are about to happen, and they soon do.

When working with your claircognizant abilities, it’s important to go with the initial impression you receive and resist dropping into your analytical mind to figure it out. When an intuitive knowing comes to you, consciously take a few deep, full breaths. This intentional use of the element of air can bring you back to a heart space to receive more guidance.
