Nidia Valadez is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. For the last five years, she’s been helping children, teenagers and adults overcome traumas, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. She’s worked in a variety of settings including a children’s shelter and a psychiatric hospital.
She recently worked in a children’s advocacy center where she counseled children, mainly those affected by sexual abuse. Nidia enjoys helping them heal so they can move forward with self-confidence. She now owns a private practice and continues to help survivors of trauma overcome their past.
